Everyday Makeup Routine

 

With being a mom of two (one toddler and one newborn) it’s easy to get lost in the list of to dos, or become busy with changing diapers or changing clothes from spit up (for the thousandth time). Half the time, my kiddos look WAY more put together than I do. I’ve come to realize that taking time to do my makeup or shower in peace is kind of a luxury! Even before I had kids, it seems I was always in a rush to get out the door and had to hurry to get my makeup done. (Probably need to work on time management, TBH!). I guess you could say I’ve become a master of doing makeup really quickly. Today I want to share with you my everyday makeup routine and my tried and true products for creating this fall look! 💋

First, prep your skin with a great face wash, moisturizer and eye cream. Let it set into your skin for a few minutes. My readers can get 20% off if you click here to purchase! Fabulous Foundation

First of all, I never leave the house without at least putting on this CC CREAM. I’m a die hard fan of this miracle worker and think it looks great on so many different skin types. I use it in the shade “light” as my foundation. It’s color correcting, has lots of anti-aging benefits, is light weight, and hydrating. It’s also packed with nutrients to help your skin fight free radicals and has SPF 50! I find that the older I get, the more I realize the importance of protecting my skin! If I want extra coverage that day, I will mix the CC cream with one pump of this foundation. My foundation even lasted throughout labor with this combo! The ultimate test! Ha! 😉

Concealed Cutie

Next I put on this concealer. I have yet to find one that works better. A little product goes along way! It conceals dark circles, hides blemishes and really brightens up my eyes! I love the applicator and how it doesn’t settle into fine lines. Definitely helps to make me look like I’ve actually gotten sleep. 😳

Bronzed Babe

Next, I use this bronzer and this angled brush to add some warmth and give me the right amount of sun kissed glow! This is my most recent drugstore find. I’m all about saving money if a product rivals the quality as the more expensive brands. I love the color, it blends in really well and smells like coconut!! Can’t get better than that! Blushing Beauty

On my cheeks I found this pretty color that I think will look great on multiple skin tones. To me, blush makes the look “come alive” and brings just enough color to the face! *Quick beauty tip- an easy way to look out together in a hurry (and if you only have lipstick with you) is to swipe a tiny bit of your lip color you are using on your cheeks as blush! Be sure to only use a little product and blend really well! For all my babes on a budget, this blush is an inexpensive option that I use often.

Brow Bible

I use this eyebrow pencil to fill in my brows. In the video I show you how to “map out” your eyebrows to know where to fill in. I like a full but tamed brow! I use the shade “caramel.”

The Eyes

This is for sure my favorite part. I love experimenting with different colors and bringing attention to the eyes. I use this liquid eyeliner for my winged eyeliner and this eye shadow palette! I’m obsessed with this palette for fall! It has great warm tones, a lot of matte colors and a few shimmers. It’s so fun experimenting and creating a new eye look with this palette. They also have a “fun size” version of this palette which is perfect for on the go! I use this mascara which is a drug store dupe of this best selling mascara. I love the way it makes my eyes pop!

The Perfect Fall Lip

I spent last Saturday afternoon on the hunt for a good lip liner and lip stick for fall, and I came back with this one! This duo is a two in one and I love the color “cutie pie.” It actually stays on really well throughout the day. Sometimes I will add this lip gloss  over it for a little shine. I love the way it makes my lips feel! Im wearing the color “tiramisu.”
