Mommy and Me Matching Swimwear

Summer 2020 definitely has been different to say the least. Some days all the bad news, canceled events, or not being able to be with friends feels overwhelming. With so much up in the air, we are learning to enjoy the simple moments & celebrate the little joys. We have tried to be outside and as active as possible. The local water park, pool, and lake have been our spots of choice for fun in the sun! Audrey Grace and I are always wearing matching suits (I need to take advantage of it while she still thinks it’s cool). Today I wanted to round up a few of our favorite mommy and me swimwear styles you can feel confident in this summer!

Mommy and Me Matching Swimwear

Whether you are lounging in your inflatable pool in the back yard or taking a trip to the beach this summer, Infamous & Mini Swim have some of the cutest matching styles you can rock with your mini. I love their one piece styles & their suits are figure flattering and mom friendly. I cannot get over the quality and the design details are STUNNING. There are so many fun prints and styles to choose from on their site. *For sizing, I would recommend selecting one size up from your normal. I went with a size large since I have a longer torso, and I love the way it fits. Audrey got her normal size 4t.

Also, I finally snagged a discount code for y’all!! Text “DOROTHYPRO”to 29071 and you’ll receive a 20% off coupon to use on anything from Infamous Swim!

Our Summer Adventures

Revisiting our time spent with family this summer brings me so much joy. It was fun to coordinate swimwear with my mini, as I try to do with our daily outfits.

This summer we have had quite a few opportunities to wear our matching swimwear. First we went to Pensacola to visit my aunt and uncle’s & stay at their beach house. While there, my immediate family joined us for a relaxing week and lots of fun. Most of the days we spent either in the bay or on the beach and loved every minute! There were two days where we had to hunker down while Tropical Storm Cristobal hit our area. Even though we couldn’t be on the beach or in the water on those days, it was still so nice to be with family! After Florida, we went to Dallas to be with my family again for July 4th. We ate lots of delicious food and spent most of our days by the pool.

Surprisingly, I was able to keep the kids out of the pool just long enough to snap a few pictures together! J-dub turned two this summer and is quite the adventurer in the water! He loves to get thrown in the water and tries to float on his back. Audrey is so close to learning how to swim on her own and she loves the water as well. She loves going to the water park and is being brave on the “big” water slides. After being in Dallas we quarantined at home for a couple weeks due to exposure to COVID. At home, we have been doing lots of family walks, jumping on the trampoline, running through the sprinkler and playing in the sand box. This summer has confirmed how thankful I am for my family!
