25 week bumpdate
Thanks for following along on our pregnancy journey! Here’s an update from our little corner of the world!
Baby update: In our most recent ultrasound at 21 weeks, we were able to see all of his little body, spine, heart, and other bones. He has really long legs and he even flexed his bicep for us! He moved around so much that it was hard to get a decent profile shot! Right now he is around 10.5-11.8 inches and weighs about a pound and a half. That’s about the size of a cantaloupe, but even more sweet! 🙂 At 25 weeks he is also growing more hair – and if we could see it, we would now be able to discern its color and texture! I can’t wait to see what he looks like!
Sooo… What is baby Pro’s name going to be?
After much going back and forth, we have decided on baby number two’s name!!! Drum roll please…
His name will be John William!
It’s got a nice ring to it, if I do say so myself! 🙂 John William (called by both) is so special because Tyler’s dad is named John and my dad’s name is William. Two of the most loving, fun, gracious and strong men of the Lord in our family. The name meaning is also really powerful (I love name meanings!) and that helped confirm the decision. The meaning of John is “God is gracious” and William means “resolute protector.” It is Tyler & my hope that John William will experience God’s goodness and grace and that he will be a strong defender/protector for those around him. We hope he follows in both his granddads steps! It’s so fun being to refer to him by his name instead of “baby pro #2.” Ha!
Some looks from my favorite shop to style this “bump”
I love the quality, colors, style and the versatility of their clothes! Not only are their clothes perfect for my growing bump, they are also great for chasing around a toddler everyday! You can shop my top here!
Favorite moment of the week: Attending the premiere of Sampson at Sight and Sound theater with our dear friends Brooke and Sam! We were able to have some time to enjoy one another, eat great food and see a wonderful show! True VIP treatment
Miss anything? I miss being able to button my pants. 😛 But I did find this awesome belly band that allows me to keep wearing my regular jeans and it helps to hold them in place! I wish I would have known about these during my first pregnancy!
