Audrey Grace’s Turns Two! Frozen Themed Birthday Party

Houston, we have a two year old! Can’t believe our first little “arrow” is already two years old. We have had so much fun seeing her little personality develop and watching her grow. She is brave, adventurous, loving, and so much FUN! While she is definitely finding her independence and testing boundaries, the challenges shy in comparison to how much joy she brings to our lives.

When thinking of how to celebrate our little love, we naturally decided to have a “Frozen” themed party since she pretty much wears her Ana and Elsa dresses on repeat. We weren’t sure what activities to have at a toddler party, so we just kept it simple. We invited her little pals, snacked on some food and cake, played outside, blew bubbles, threw and hit balloons, and opened presents.

I think as parents we can sometimes get carried away with planning the perfect “Pinterest” party, when really all kids need is some open space to play! Of course, I love getting festive and hosting parties, so I searched for some easy party decor that I could put together! I found the cutest decor which included banners, streamers, poms, and balloons for around $20 here! It comes in all different colors depending on your theme! I also linked the sparkle table cloth I found here! Super simple and festive! Her friends came over in their favorite character costumes and they were too cute. Give them balloons and bubbles and they were content!

My little brother Dane also had a birthday this weekend. We went bowling at Fun Mountain, ate chinese (his favorite) and ice-cream and he was super happy. Uncle Dane and Audrey Grace have such a special relationship already. It’s really neat to see Dane play games like peek-a-boo and hide-and-seek with her. He loves to make her laugh with tickles and funny faces. We really enjoyed having both sets of grandparents in town, and, of course, they spoiled her and had so much fun soaking up the time with her.

I love how excited and genuinely interested Audrey Grace was opening each present! This “Olaf” was given to her by Uncle Dane and she LOVES it!

Thanks to friends and family for helping us celebrate our little love! It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating her FIRST birthday. Click to see her “Sparkle and Shine” pink and gold themed one year birthday party here. It’s been a fun adventure and I’ve learned a ton as a first time mom. You can read about the lessons I have learned here.
